Successful Fundraisers for Northern Colorado Wildlife Center

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up and showed out for wildlife at our recent BJ’s Restaurant and DC Oakes Brewhouse fundraisers!

Because of your support, we raised a combined $1,417—enough to fund a full month of critical medical supplies and purchase 20 lbs of specialized formula to feed orphaned baby birds and mammals.

These dollars turn into second chances: into tiny beaks fed, wounds bandaged, and wild lives made whole again.

Whether you ordered a burger, brought your friends, or helped spread the word—thank you for being part of our work and for reminding us just how powerful community compassion can be.

When I first stepped into the world of wildlife rehabilitation, I never imagined just how deeply it would shape my life. Every day is a new challenge, a new story, and a new life saved. From orphaned baby squirrels to injured raptors, each animal that comes through the doors of the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center (NCWC) reminds me why this work matters so much—not just for them, but for all of us. I’ve always believed that wildlife rehabilitation is more than just fixing broken wings or nursing animals back to health. It’s about restoring balance, inspiring future generations of conservation heroes, and giving nature a fighting chance. At NCWC, we’re not just rescuing animals—we’re educating communities, protecting habitats, and advocating for the voiceless.
