Northern Colorado Wildlife Center is honored to be nominated in this year’s Best of NoCo Style campaign, and we’d be so grateful for your vote. It’s completely free, takes just a minute or two, and every vote helps shine a light on the lifesaving work we do for Colorado’s injured and orphaned wildlife.

When I first stepped into the world of wildlife rehabilitation, I never imagined just how deeply it would shape my life. Every day is a new challenge, a new story, and a new life saved. From orphaned baby squirrels to injured raptors, each animal that comes through the doors of the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center (NCWC) reminds me why this work matters so much—not just for them, but for all of us. I’ve always believed that wildlife rehabilitation is more than just fixing broken wings or nursing animals back to health. It’s about restoring balance, inspiring future generations of conservation heroes, and giving nature a fighting chance. At NCWC, we’re not just rescuing animals—we’re educating communities, protecting habitats, and advocating for the voiceless.
