Join us Saturday, October 18th from 3–6 PM at 2637 Midpoint Drive, Fort Collins for a free, family-friendly afternoon full of fun and festivities!

With more than 30 vendors to visit, delicious food trucks, carnival games, face painting, a crazy hair station, and live animal meet & greets, there’s truly something for everyone — so save the date, come in costume, and bring your friends, family, and spooky spirit!

When I first stepped into the world of wildlife rehabilitation, I never imagined just how deeply it would shape my life. Every day is a new challenge, a new story, and a new life saved. From orphaned baby squirrels to injured raptors, each animal that comes through the doors of the Northern Colorado Wildlife Center (NCWC) reminds me why this work matters so much—not just for them, but for all of us. I’ve always believed that wildlife rehabilitation is more than just fixing broken wings or nursing animals back to health. It’s about restoring balance, inspiring future generations of conservation heroes, and giving nature a fighting chance. At NCWC, we’re not just rescuing animals—we’re educating communities, protecting habitats, and advocating for the voiceless. Last year alone, we treated 2,475 wild animals representing 134 different species, each with a story of struggle and survival.
