From All of Us at NCWC — Thank You for Making Our Work Possible
As we dive deeper into the giving season and many of us gather with the people who matter most, we want to take a moment to express just how grateful we are for you.
Every new patient admitted, every delicate feeding, every successful release, and every moment spent educating our community is fueled entirely by the generosity of people, like you, who believe in protecting Colorado’s wildlife. Your kindness keeps our wildlife hospital open, empowers our staff and volunteers, and ensures that every injured, orphaned, or displaced animal who comes through our doors has a fighting chance.
We’ve also been receiving several questions as Colorado Gives Day approaches, so here are a few quick answers:
What are the ways I can donate?
You can give in whatever way is easiest for you. Online through Colorado Gives Day (https://www.coloradogives.org/donate/Nocowildlife), PayPal, Venmo, mailed or dropped-off checks, or by donating items directly from our wishlist are all greatly appreciated. We also accept gifts through qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) and donor-advised funds. For those who need it, our EIN is 81-2267415.
Do small gifts really have an impact?
ABSOLUTELY! Whether someone gives $1 or $1,000, every single contribution plays a meaningful role in keeping our wildlife hospital running. If everyone who saw this post chipped in just $5, we would not only reach our fundraising goal — we would be able to expand programs, offer more career and volunteer opportunities, and help far more animals and people in 2026.
It isn’t about how much any one person gives. It’s about what we can accomplish when our community comes together to support the wildlife and wild spaces that make Colorado beautiful.
To every supporter, volunteer, donor, and advocate who has stood with us this year: thank you!
Your compassion and generosity is the force behind every life saved.
